Christian formation, more than a learning experience, shapes our personal and communal destiny. What we learn and practice determine our values, gives birth to our hopes and ultimately creates our future. Therefore, the Christian formation program at Immaculate Heart of Mary is intentionally life shaping.
At Immaculate Heart of Mary our focus is simple—educating God’s children in His Word and preparing them for success as a productive citizen of whichever community they belong.
Religion is taught four days a week in all classes. The fifth day is set aside for Liturgy. All students are expected to participate in Religion classes and attend all religious exercises during school hours. This includes Mass, Way of the Cross, May Devotions, etc. Each class has the opportunity to prepare the theme for the weekly mass including the readings and hymns for the Masses. An open invitation is extended to parents and members of the community to celebrate the liturgy with the students and school staff.
Immaculate Heart of Mary church parish is an integral part of our school. All members of our school family are welcome to join us as we worship with our parish family for weekend services Saturdays - 4:00 pm, and Sundays - 6:00 am, 7:30 am, 9:00 am, and 11:00 am. The IHM school choir provide the spirit-filled, gospel sounds for mass every 4th Sundays of the month.
