Longfellow-Evangeline Historic State Park shows the charming Acadian homes and the beautiful gardens displaying a variety of culinary and medicinal herbs and plants that were traditionally grown in the area. Visitors can get a glimpse of the lifestyle of the Acadian and Creole settlers.

Immaculate Heart of Mary’s Elementary and Middle School program encompasses the following subject areas integrating and utilizing technology:

Another important aspect to the educational process is self-esteem.  Character development and life skills training are incorporated into the daily curriculum and are ever present in the overall atmosphere of the school.

Students are exposed to enrichment activities that are designed to stimulate the desire to learn.

Lauren is president of our Christian Ministry and vice president of our National Junior Beta Club.  She is also on the IHM 8th Grade basketball team.  She plans to attend Northside High School.
